Burg Eltz

So, the MacGregors, on the way to Koln (Cologne), stopped off at Burg Eltz. It was VERY cold there and hardly anyone was around. So, we decided not to walk all the way down to the schloss itself, but take a few photos from above. This is the first schloss we've seen that's not on a hilltop!


This picture is of a statue inside the Kolner Dom (Cologne Cathedral). This is the only shot that came out clearly as we didn't make it there in the daylight. The pictures of the outside that we have are all good...if you look at them on a small scale, otherwise they're a tad blurry. Maybe we'll make it back up there in the daytime?!

Katie did very well on the trip, I might add. When we walked into the restaurant we chose with our baby and baby paraphernalia...people gave us that "oh, here we go...I WAS enjoying my meal" look. But, Katie was a perfect angel and even smiled at 3 or 4 separate tables-worth of people. They, of course, all softened and thought Katie was the best baby they had ever had the pleasure of being around! Of course, they were right!!!
